Transfer to Jinja and Source of the Nile Boat Experience

Morning pickup from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Kampala, followed by a drive to Jinja through the scenic eastern route. Depending on time and your package arrangement, you may stop at Ssezibwa Falls or Mabira Forest. After lunch in Jinja, enjoy a guided boat ride to the point where the Nile begins its journey from Lake Victoria, with time for photography, sightseeing and nearby craft or souvenir stalls.

Jinja Exploration and Return Journey

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Jinja. Depending on your interests, you may choose an optional city tour, nature walk, tubing, kayaking, white-water rafting or riverside cruise. Visit selected viewpoints and riverside attractions, have lunch in Jinja and then transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.

Best Time to Visit

Jinja can be visited throughout the year. The drier periods from June to August and December to February are especially suitable for boat rides, sightseeing and outdoor activities. Travellers interested in rafting and other water activities should confirm current river conditions before booking.
