Welcome and Arrival
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly representative guide/driver. They will assist with your luggage before travelling to the Rwenzori Mountains, renowned as the 'Mountains of the Moon'. After arriving, you will check in at your lodge and prepare for the trek.
Travel through the scenic highland landscapes of southwestern Uganda before checking in at your lodge. In the evening enjoy dinner and a trekking safety briefing.
Arrival and Preparation
- Airport pickup and safari briefing by your driver-guide.
- Stop at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for photographs and souvenirs.
- Lunch stop in Mbarara before continuing towards the Western Rift Valley.
- Introductory game drive while entering the national park.
- Dinner and overnight at Rwenzori Mountain Retreat.

Game Drive and Rwenzori Peaks Cruise
Begin the day with breakfast followed by a guided trek through the Rwenzori Mountains, exploring lush rainforest, alpine meadows and rugged mountain terrain.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before enjoying mountain views or a short acclimatization walk.
