Welcome and Transfer

You will be received by a professional driver-guide and briefed about the safari before travelling to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey includes a stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs, the water experiment and craft shopping, followed by lunch in Mbarara.

On entering the park, enjoy an introductory game drive in search of Uganda kobs, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, lions, leopards and other wildlife.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

  • Airport pickup and safari briefing by your driver-guide.
  • Stop at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for photographs and souvenirs.
  • Lunch stop in Mbarara before continuing towards the Western Rift Valley.
  • Introductory game drive while entering the national park.
  • Dinner and overnight at Twin Lakes Safari Lodge.

Meals: Lunch and dinner, plus drinking water.

Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Cruise

Begin with an early morning game drive across the Kasenyi plains, looking for bushbucks, waterbucks, elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and other animals in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is known for hippos, abundant birdlife and wildlife gathering along its shores.

Meals: Lunch and dinner, plus drinking water.

Katwe Salt Lake and Return to Kampala

After breakfast, visit Katwe Salt Lake and learn about traditional salt extraction. Continue towards Entebbe with a lunch stop in Mbarara and another short stop at the Equator.

You will then be transferred to the airport or your selected destination, marking the end of the safari.
