Transfer to Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve
Begin your safari with an early morning departure and drive towards Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve, passing through the beautiful landscapes of eastern Uganda on the way towards Karamoja. Arrive at the reserve and check in at your accommodation before relaxing and enjoying the peaceful wilderness surroundings. Depending on arrival time and conditions, take an introductory evening game drive across the open plains in search of giraffes, antelopes, ostriches and other wildlife before returning for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Pian Upe Wildlife Experience
After an early breakfast, head into Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve for an extensive morning game drive across its vast grasslands and acacia-dotted plains. Look out for Nubian giraffes, roan antelopes, Jackson’s hartebeests, elands, oribis, zebras, buffaloes and ostriches while enjoying views of the surrounding wilderness and Mount Kadam. Return for lunch and a short rest before continuing the afternoon experience. Depending on arrangements and guest interests, enjoy additional wildlife viewing, birding or a ranger-guided nature walk. A community cultural experience may also be arranged to introduce travellers to the traditions and way of life of communities living around the reserve. Return to the accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Morning Game Drive & Departure
Wake up early for a final sunrise game drive when temperatures are cooler and wildlife is particularly active.
