Welcome and Arrival
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative driver-guide. After a safari briefing, travel west through central Uganda’s rolling hills and cultivated terraces, with an en-route lunch stop in Mbarara.
After checking in at the lodge, you may enjoy an evening game drive in search of zebras, impalas, giraffes, bushbucks, bush duikers and other wildlife.
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
- Airport pickup and safari briefing by your driver-guide.
- Travel through central Uganda’s picturesque countryside.
- Stop in Mbarara for lunch before continuing to Lake Mburo National Park.
- Evening game drive in search of zebras, impalas, giraffes and other wildlife.
- Dinner and overnight at Eagle’s Nest.

Game Drive and Lake Mburo Cruise Cruise
Begin the day with breakfast followed by a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, home to hippos, crocodiles, diverse birdlife and other wildlife.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Lake Mburo Cruise, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is known for hippos, abundant birdlife and wildlife gathering along its shores.
