Welcome and Arrival
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by a professional driver-guide and briefed about your safari before travelling to the remote Kidepo Valley National Park in northeastern Uganda.
The journey takes you through some of Uganda’s most scenic and rugged landscapes. After arriving at the park, check in at the lodge, relax and prepare for your safari adventure.
Arrival and Initial Exploration

- Travel through the scenic and rugged landscapes of northeastern Uganda.
- Transfer to your lodge inside or near Kidepo Valley National Park.
- Optional evening game drive or time to enjoy panoramic views from the lodge.
- Dinner and overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.

Game Drive and Narus Valley Cruise
Begin with breakfast followed by a full day of exploration in Kidepo Valley National Park, including game drives in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wildlife.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Narus Valley, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is known for hippos, abundant birdlife and wildlife gathering along its shores.
